Sport fishing

 In this area we offer a variety of fishing trips, from big game fishing, to trolling around the island and deep sea fishing.

Scuba Diving

São Jorge is an island with innumerous amazing places to scuba dive, an outstanding underwater landscape and also locations were you will be surrounded with all sorts of sea species.

Spear fishing

In this island we can find excellent places for this activity, with the possibility to also dive in other islands and on the banks around the central group of the Azores islands (Princesa Alice and João de Castro's Banks, for example).

Island Tours

Our 65 coast miles are rich and luring to any nature lover that wishes to visit São Jorge's Island. The singularity of its small villages and "fajãs" (rocky outcrops on the coast), the immense vegetation broken up by cascades and framed by the blue of the sky and ocean are all characteristics that make São Jorge a unique place to visit.

Visits to abandoned Fajãs

Our Fajãs are known by their small villages frozen in time, and by its distinctive microclimate. These little pieces of land, trapped between the ocean and our mountains preserve the memory and stories of times long gone.

With a wide variety of rustic houses in different places at Sao Jorge, you will be able to live intimately with the nature and the local habitants. In São Jorge you may also find small pensions, a 3 stars hotel, apartments and camping parks.
